My goal is let the research direct my steps, but there are conflicting signs.  For example, the following research (published in 2004) paints an opposing view where reduction of thimerisol yields lower rates of autism:

I'm curious how a parent goes about making an informed decision in the midst of differing signals.  Can someone more familiar with the both research papers shed light on this?</description>
