I imagine that Phil’s session will be pretty good. He and his colleagues have been studying the effects of instructional variations on students’ learning and behavior. See, for example,

Sadly, I shan’t be attending, as I must go to meetings this coming weekend and the following weekend. Too much travel in too brief a time.
